Who are we

The Basement Project is a registered charity. we provide a safe place for young people between the ages 8 and 25 living in Benton, Longbenton, Forest Hall & Palmersville and is available after school.

Open since 2014, We have been providing a warm, safe and friendly environment for young people to socialise, gain support and enjoy free meals.

We have a PC suite which can be used for homework and other activities, we also have a comfortable TV area along with various game consoles.

We provide young people with the option to take part in various indoor sports as we have the use of a large church hall.

THURSDAY - 3:00 PM TO 6:00 PM CLOSED

FRIDAY - 3:00 PM TO 5:00 PM CLOSED
